Museum ‘t Kromhout
Description
In the city centre, Amsterdam’s maritime history comes to life. Old engineering and modern repurposing combine at a unique Stadsherstel venue.
Industrial and inspiring
Museum ’t Kromhout, robust and industrial, has an atmosphere of craftsmanship, engineering and strength. This inspiring environment gives dinners, receptions and company presentations an extra dimension. Theatre companies and musicians – for example from the Grachtenfestival – love the decor and are inspired by the historic setting.
Flexible and service-oriented
This heritage building is of course equipped with all modern conveniences, from heating to bathroom facilities and changing rooms. You can have drinks or a meeting in the upstairs hall, with a view of the historic Oosthal (‘East Hall’), and then move downstairs for dinner. Outside you can have a drink on the canal side with a view of the nearby windmill and the Oosterkerk church.
