Our restaurant is characterized by ”Classic meets Modern” with a vintage atmosphere accompanied by the warmth of wood usages. If you enter you will experience the Mediterranean hospitality and the joy to welcome you as a guest. You feel the influence of warm tones such as tree bark and walnut wood. The same warm feeling that we eventually want to offer you with our cuisine, hospitality and service, inspired from the East, and presented in the West.

El QATARIJNE restaurant is located on the monumental Mariaplaats in the old city center of Utrecht. With her countless monuments buildings, canals and courtyards, the old city center can be described as a place where the Middle Ages meets and greets you. Our location is perfectly situated near Hoog Catharijne (less than 300 meters) and all the highlights that Utrecht has to offer.

Good to know

For those who wish more privacy El QATARIJNE features two private dining rooms on the 1st floor. Suitable for large groups as well as for smaller groups, starting from 10 up to 35 guests.

Our menu is based on recognizable products that are combined in a subtle way with spices from the oriental cuisine. The conceptual choices are made by our chefs. If you have dietary requirements or allergies please let us know 2 days in advance. We can work around everything such as preparing halal or vegan menus for your guests.
