Description

De IJ-kantine is a contemporary industrial styled restaurant café. We are open daily from 09.00 till 24.00h where you are welcome for a classic breakfast, warm lunch or a finger licking dinner.

The restaurant is equipped with an impressive 18 meter long bar, high ceiling, has an industrial look and feel and a breath-taking view over the IJ. Here you can find plenty of space to catch up on your news, read a book or have a good chat with a friend or colleague whilst enjoy delicious food from our kitchen. In case you are looking for a peaceful and quite spot, you can make use of our entresol. This balcony overlooks the entire restaurant and is equipped with a cozy warm fireplace.

Accessibility
The restaurant is easily accessible by any form of transportation you choose. From Amsterdam Central Station in direction of NDSM you can take refreshing free of charge ferry ride. A short 10 minute ride will bring you right at our doorstep. If you are travelling by car, there is always enough parking space in the near vicinity. Parking costs are € 1,30 p/hour. In case you are really feeling adventurous as have rented a boat to cruise the canals of Amsterdam, you are welcome to make use of the public docking possibilities in the Amsterdam Marina harbour. It’s just in front of the ship “Pollux”, look for the three yellow masts.

The Menu of Choice is our three course sit down dinner. The choices between starter and main course can be made by your guests on the evening itself.

The Private Dining area is available for 25 up to a maximum of 250 guests!
