Are you a big fish lover looking for the place to eat in the heart of Amsterdam? Here in this beautiful warehouse building at 999 Prinsengracht we cook dishes with FISH from waters from all over the world.

You are most welcome from Monday to Saturday from 12 until 4 p.m. for lunch and from 6 p.m. for dinner for a total culinary experience. We serve a menu consisting of four, five or six courses. You can expand the menu with various oysters or beautiful cans of caviar. There is also the option to finish with a cheese platter or our signature dish: duck liver with chocolate.

Prefer no FISH?
Then we will be happy to prepare a menu based on meat or vegetarian dishes. This is only possible if you indicate this in advance when making the reservation, for example online in the comments field.

John Dory fish restaurant is the perfect place in the centre of Amsterdam to hold a range of events. Both during the day and in the evening, we will ensure that you and your guests have an experience you will not soon forget. It is possible to rent both the lower level (40 guest) and the upper level (35 guest) of the restaurant.
