Oresti’s taverna is a Mediterranean café-restaurant located on the Overtoom in Amsterdam. At Oresti’s taverna we don’t only serve Spanish dishes, but the best of different cuisines from many countries around the Mediterranean. Enjoy the most beautiful Greek mezze, Spanish tapas or Italian antipasti with fine wines in a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

In Piraeus, Orestis saw how his mother and his aunts, cooked the most fantastic lunches and dinners for the whole family, under the watchful eye of his grandmother. They were his teachers, Orestis looked at everything that happened in the kitchen. All the flavor explosions and the delicious, refined scents became part of his memory. The scent of cumin, oregano, thyme or fish still lingers him back to the time in Piraeus and basil or mint is enough to take his thoughts back to his Grandma’s patio in Amfiali. In these enchanting years, his interest for beautiful flavors and ultimate hospitality was developed.
